Requirements to Become a Nursing Assistant in Wyoming
State-approved CNA training programs in Wyoming should consist of no less than 75 hours of classroom and clinical instruction. During your training, you will learn many essential skills including CPR, basic patient care, effective communication, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
After completing your CNA program, you must register for and complete the state's CNA Nurse Aide Certification exam. This test comprises a multiple-choice question section and a practical skills evaluation.
Passing both sections of the CNA exam will place your name on Wyoming's Nurse Aide Registry.
