Requirements to Become a Nursing Assistant in Washington
The first step involved in becoming a CNA in Washington is to enroll in and complete a CNA program that is state-approved. According to rules set by the state of Washington, CNA programs must consist of at least 85 hours of training. Further, your program must include a mixture of classroom lectures and clinical training.
After completing your CNA training, you will be able to sit for the state’s CNA Certification Exam. Passing this exam will place your name on the state’s Nurse Aide Registry.
