CNA Programs in New Hampshire
Requirements to Become a Nursing Assistant in New Hampshire
In New Hampshire, CNAs are known as Licensed Nursing Assistants, or LNAs. The first step involved in beginning a career as an LNA in the state is completing an LNA program that is approved by the state.
Upon completion of your program, you must pass the state's CNA Competency Exam. Many schools include this test in their CNA programs. However, if your school does not, you can locate a testing site by contacting the New Hampshire Nurse Aide Registry.
If you pass the competency test with an acceptable score, you will receive a license to practice as an LNA (CNA) in New Hampshire, and your name will be added to their Nurse Aide Registry.
