CNA Programs in Connecticut
Requirements to Become a Nursing Assistant in Connecticut
While there is a high demand for these trained professionals in Connecticut, you must obtain the proper training first. The training program you choose must be approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
Upon completion of your program, you will need to schedule an appointment to sit for the state's CNA exam administered by Prometric. You must pass this exam before you can obtain certification. There is a small fee for the CNA exam, which is nonrefundable if you do not pass.
If you do pass the test, you will be placed on the state's registry as a CNA who is eligible to work.
